Emanuel Graf to Celebrate 200th Anniversary of Johann Strauss Jr. with Munich Symphony Orchestra

In a grand celebration of the 200th anniversary of the “Waltz King”, Johann Strauss Jr., the Munich Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Mo. Olivier Tardy, will present an extraordinary concert titled “Around the World in Waltz Time.”

The event, set to take place at the Isarphilharmonie concert hall in the Gasteig HP8 cultural centre, will be hosted by actor Udo Wachtveitl, who will guide the audience through an enchanting evening of music and storytelling. The program promises a rich and varied selection of works by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, and Offenbach, among others.

The evening features performances by young, award-winning Munich violin virtuoso Tassilo Probst and the ever-spectacular cellist Emanuel Graf, who will be playing his magnificent Stradivarius cello.
